Steve Grieg: The Man Who Devotes His Life to Adopting Overlooked Senior Animals from Shelters
Steve Grieg, a resident of Colorado, has dedicated his life to adopting senior animals who are often overlooked at shelters. His love for animals and his desire to provide them with a good life led him to adopt senior dogs and farm animals. Steve has a unique approach to pet adoption and is known for taking in animals that are considered “least adoptable.”
Over time, Steve’s passion for helping animals grew, and he continued to adopt more and more from shelters. Currently, he shares his home with 10 senior dogs, a pig named Bikini, two ducks, pigeons, cats, and a few chickens. Steve’s house is filled with love, companionship, and daily routines that include walks, vet visits, grooming, and lots of cuddles. 
Steve’s dedication to his animal family has gained attention, and he has amassed a large following on Instagram, with over 800,000 followers. He regularly updates his followers with adorable pictures and videos of his pets, showcasing the joy and fulfillment of adopting senior animals. Through his Instagram account, Steve hopes to inspire others and demonstrate the rewards of giving senior animals a second chance. 
According to Steve, senior animals are wise and have a clear sense of self. They know what they want out of life, making it easier to develop a strong bond with them. Seeing his furry friends happy, loved, and well-cared for brings Steve immense fulfillment, making every day worthwhile. 
Despite not having space for more pets at the moment, Steve plans to continue adopting senior dogs in the future, expanding his loving family and making a positive impact on the lives of overlooked animals.
