Holding onto hope that the mother’s actions were unintentional, they cautiously reintroduced Zhuang-zhuang to her, only to witness another vicious attack. Consequently, in order to safeguard his life, the decision was made to permanently separate the two, and a compassionate zookeeper stepped forward to adopt the forsaken calf.
