Careful, Too Cute Puppies! Touching Photos of Dogs by Kristina Kvapilova
Kristina Kvapilova, a young and talented photographer from the Czech Republic, adores pets, especially dogs. She captures them in the most picturesque locations, showcasing the beauty, grace, and adorable habits of these animals. She jokingly refers to herself as a dog photographer.
At only 23 years old, Kristina is a self-taught photographer. She was born in Olomouc but currently resides in Prague. Kristina has a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd named Charlie, with whom she spends a lot of time traveling, walking, and taking photos.
Charlie is an excellent model and serves as the inspiration for his owner. Kristina says that her dog is her personal teacher and helps her become better at her craft.
Kristina strives to capture vibrant and emotional shots.
“In my photography, I primarily focus on the animal, and my goal is to make the shot as intriguing as possible. I enjoy revealing the true nature of dogs in my photos—their playfulness, their relaxed demeanor,” Kristina shares.
“We all seek happiness, but it often seems elusive. I am incredibly grateful to have a dog in my life! I believe they make us happier because dogs are remarkable companions who offer their owners much more than wagging tails in the mornings. They are often the first to welcome anyone who comes home, they inspire us to spend more time in nature, and they offer unconditional love to their owners.”
Photography is a unique moment frozen in time. One of Kristina’s favorite shots depicts a sunset, a muddy puddle, and a dog. The dynamics of the photo are enhanced by water droplets and warm tones.
Charlie acts as an older brother to Woody, and they have a lot of fun together. He can come and lie down next to Woody at any time or share a bone with him.
