Cristiano Ronaldo has crossed the milestone of 600 million followers on Instagram, making him the first individual to achieve this figure on the Meta Platforms-owned social media platform. Ronaldo is one of the most prominent figures on social media. The Portuguese superstar reached 500 million followers on Instagram in November 2022 and took less than a year to reach the 600 million mark.
In terms of social media presence, Ronaldo is leading the battle against Messi. Messi has 482 million followers on Instagram, the second-highest on the platform, while Selena Gomez is in third place with 427 million.
