HOT! Arsenal targets £40 million goalkeeper
According to David Ornstein, the Gunners are considering the possibility of signing a star from Brentford’s ranks.
Arsenal’s goalkeeping position has been stable ever since Manager Mikel Arteta acquired Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United. The English goalkeeper has not only displayed outstanding saves but also pushed his predecessor Bernd Leno out of the starting lineup due to his impressive footwork and fighting spirit.
So far, Ramsdale has been a solid pillar for Arsenal’s defense, and they also have another quality backup option in Matt Turner.
The American goalkeeper joined Arsenal last summer and was given the chance to play in cup competitions, where he performed quite well. However, according to reliable journalist David Ornstein, Arsenal is still considering the possibility of signing goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford.
The Spanish star has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League over the last two seasons. He has previously attracted interest from clubs like Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
It is understood that Brentford is willing to sell Raya if they receive a £40 million offer.
