Manchester United Pursuing Midfield Talent Gravenberch as Alternative to Bellingham

In a recent report by journalist Santi Aouna, Manchester United has reinitiated their pursuit of midfielder Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich. Following the departure of Fred, Man United is clearly in search of a central midfielder. For several weeks, Sofyan Amrabat has been consistently linked to the Red Devils. However, there are other options on their shopping list, one of which is Gravenberch.

Gravenberch could potentially depart from Allianz Arena this summer due to limited playing time in Germany. With his talent, he has garnered interest from several clubs, notably Liverpool and Manchester United. According to the latest update from Santi Aouna, the Red Devils have reignited their pursuit of the Dutch midfielder. Meanwhile, the former Ajax star is also open to a move to the Premier League.

As reported by FootMecato, Gravenberch seems to favor a move to Old Trafford over Anfield due to the chance of reuniting with former mentor Erik ten Hag. However, negotiations are ongoing, and no official offers have been made at this point.

Gravenberch’s potential is beyond dispute. Not long ago, Dutch legend Rafael van der Vaart even stated that the Bayern midfielder is superior to Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham “in every aspect.”
