Fuelled by an undeniable passion for cosplay, a devoted mother transforms her daughter into a beloved character, amassing a fanbase in the thousands.

A simple gift from an aunt inadvertently ignited the spark of cosplay, birthing 120 distinct makeup and costume ensembles under the skilled hands of this imaginative mother.

Rather than leaning towards eerie or horrifying styles, this mother’s creations incite a fervor, presenting her child in costumes that stand unmatched.

For the ultimate Halloween attire, a young boy’s portrayal rendered netizens emotional, as he appeared as if he had walked straight out of a spine-chilling ghostly film.

Cosplay, short for costume play, involves not just donning costumes but also immersing oneself in the role of a beloved fictional character. Originating in Japan in the 90s, cosplay rapidly burgeoned into a cultural phenomenon. Its allure extends beyond the Land of the Rising Sun, capturing the hearts of youths worldwide. The essence of cosplay lies in the fervor for a character, stemming from admiration and passion.

Maria Eduarda, a mother hailing from Brazil, counts herself among the devoted cosplayers. Expressing her ardor, she ingeniously transforms her four-year-old daughter, Judite Barros, into a young cosplaying prodigy, donning an array of diverse costumes.

In her journey, Maria cosplays her daughter as Dustin Henderson, a character from the TV show “Stranger Things.”

The genesis of this creative venture can be traced back to November 2015, when Judite’s aunt gifted her a shining blade resembling those wielded by Jedi knights in Star Wars movies, along with a flared skirt. This seemingly innocuous present unexpectedly ignited Maria’s passion for cosplay. Subsequently, she has crafted a whopping 120 distinct looks for Judite, all masterfully conjured by her “witch-like” hands.

Maria’s creative wellspring isn’t confined to whimsical Pixar or Disney cartoon characters. She delves into the realm of iconic movie protagonists and antagonists, spanning Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Star Wars, and more, all reimagined with a child-friendly twist. And that’s not all; Maria breathes life into famous TV series as well, channeling characters from Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and The Big Bang Theory into her daughter’s vibrant portrayals.
