Bella Hadid, the 20-year-old supermodel and sister of renowned model Gigi Hadid, was recently honored with the prestigious Model of the Year award at the GQ Men of the Year awards ceremony in London, England.

Expressing her emotions upon receiving the award, Bella Hadid revealed feeling both overwhelmed and touched by the recognition. She stated, “It’s crazy. I worked hard and then it was recognized.”

During the awards ceremony on September 6, Bella Hadid was accompanied by her mother Yolanda Foster, who had been undergoing treatment for an extended period. In a heartfelt moment, Bella thanked her mother on stage and expressed her joy that her mother was able to attend the event after a long period of illness. Bella shared, “This is the first time my mother got out of bed in 4 years, and also did her hair and makeup. I am so glad she is here.”

Despite only entering the fashion industry two years ago, Bella Hadid has rapidly achieved significant success. She stands among sought-after names in the fashion world, alongside peers such as Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, and Cara Delevingne. In recognition of her accomplishments, she was previously awarded the Model of the Year title at the Fashion Los Angeles Awards in the United States.

Bella Hadid’s journey into the vibrant world of fashion was ignited by the inspiration of her sister Gigi Hadid, a renowned supermodel. Prior to gaining attention from the esteemed model training agency IMG Models and signing a contract, Bella worked as a freelance model for several years.

In addition to her modeling career, Bella Hadid has ventured into television series and reality shows. Notably, she is a competitive equestrian athlete and had aspirations to participate in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. However, her health prevented her from realizing that goal.
