Modern Country House: Panoramic Sliding Windows in the Moscow Suburbs
In the comments, a girl pointed out that such windows would cause a lot of dust in the house and suggested that they would be more suitable for Mexico than for us.
It’s a frame building.
Function: for relaxation, hosting guests, and holding events. It also features a sauna, hammam, an outdoor swimming pool, and a terrace.
The building has an elongated shape with windows spanning its entire length. There are windows and double doors on the short sides.
Along the long side, there are sliding door panels that can be fully opened.
Despite the contrasting colors, the style is still Scandinavian.
This structure is solely intended for leisure purposes, as there is another house on the same plot for living. This intentional separation serves to distinguish between residential and communal areas, as well as to accommodate overnight guests.
The advantage of a suspended fireplace is that there’s no need to build a separate foundation for it.
Here, you can clearly see the sliding windows that lead to the terrace. The key is to position the house correctly to minimize snow accumulation.
The hostess loves the color purple, so all the furniture is in that color. The wood color complements it nicely. It turned out to be a very good and unexpected choice.
Wood was deliberately used in the finishing, and to accentuate the space, the wall opposite the window is clad in horizontally arranged planks, distinct from all other walls, with long rails and conventional soffits.
Together, it creates an impressive and cozy atmosphere.
A House for Leisure
Although this building is solely for leisure, the owners spend a lot of time here because it’s conducive to relaxation and unwinding.
There’s a year-round heated swimming pool on the terrace, allowing for swimming not only in summer but also in winter!
Overall, it has truly become a comfortable space, and the surrounding nature promotes relaxation.
