PSG is feeling helpless with Mbappe and is demanding to take Real Madrid to FIFA.

PSG is trying every possible means to reverse the situation with Kylian Mbappe, as they consider filing a complaint against Real Madrid with FIFA for ‘tapping up’ the French striker.

Paris Saint-Germain finds themselves in an unexpected situation during this summer transfer window: they are forced to sell Kylian Mbappe, a player they see as a central figure in the club’s project.

Furthermore, PSG might have to sell Mbappe for a much lower price than expected, as failing to do so would mean they lose him for free next year without receiving any transfer fee.

Mbappe is adamant about not activating his contract extension with PSG and is not interested in any other approaches. He is even willing to sit on the bench for the entire season in Paris, having been excluded from the Asian tour as well.

This has led PSG’s leadership to believe that he has already reached an agreement with Real Madrid to join them on a free transfer next summer, where he would receive a “signing-on” bonus of 160 million euros.

Mbappe’s refusal to meet with Al Hilal, a club willing to pay 300 million euros for his transfer and offer him a yearly salary of 700,000 euros, has only strengthened PSG’s belief that the 24-year-old forward has already committed to Real Madrid.

According to reports from Telegraph, PSG is considering filing a formal complaint against Real Madrid with FIFA. According to FIFA regulations, a club is prohibited from contacting and making an agreement with a player from another team when there is still more than 6 months remaining on the player’s contract. In Mbappe’s case, he still has almost a year left on his agreement with PSG.

It is evident that PSG wants to put pressure on Mbappe and the La Liga giants with the aim of ensuring the “betrayed” player is sold before the end of the summer transfer window.

Real Madrid is reportedly keen to finalize the deal for Mbappe before the start of the 2023/24 La Liga season, as currently there are no legal constraints on their negotiations with the player.

Therefore, the white-clad team needs to take action to avoid any other competitors interfering with the transfer deal. PSG’s President, Al-Khelaifi, has reportedly met with Chelsea’s owner and encouraged him to make an offer.
