Touching Gesture: Orangutan Feeds Milk to a Tiger Cub

An orangutan at a Thai zoo has touched the hearts of many as it fed a 60-day-old tiger cub with milk.

It is reported that the 2.5-year-old orangutan named Do Do is employed to assist with the daily feeding of baby animals at the Samut Prakarn Zoo and Crocodile Farm in Bangkok, Thailand’s capital.

Do Do shows no fear towards the tiger cubs and cares for them as if they were her own offspring.

Sirinaj, a 35-year-old caretaker who has worked at the zoo for 20 years, said that Do Do learns quickly, needing only a few lessons to know how to hold a milk bottle.

However, sometimes Do Do gets carried away playing with the tiger cubs (ranging from 3 to 5 weeks old) and forgets her “babysitting” duties.
